Set along the banks of the Great Fish River, this lodge, aptly named Kwandwe Great Fish River Lodge offers uninterrupted views across the river and wilderness of the malaria free Kwandwe Game Reserve.
The main lodge area has a wraparound viewing deck leading from the dining room, bar and sitting areas. The inside areas have a fireplace for cooler evenings and for the wine lovers there is a well stocked wine cellar. Meals are enjoyed inside or under African skies at the boma.
Your stay includes all meals, soft drinks, house wines, local branded spirits and beers, laudry, scheduled safari activities and nature walks.

Morning and evening game drives are conducted in open land rovers and an experienced guide who will share their knowledge of the bush with you. Enjoy guided game walks and bush picnics during your stay (weather permitting). The Kwandwe Private Reserve is home to the Big Five (black & white rhino, elephant, lion, buffalo and leopard) as well as a variety of predators and general game, including cheetah, kudu, springbok, eland, red hartebeest, giraffe, black wildebeest and gemsbok (Oryx).
In addition to the traditional stay at a private game reserve, Kwandwe Private Reserve also offers a variety of extra safaris which can be pre-booked at an additional cost. Experience guided nature walks and open game drives, and bush breakfasts, sunset drinks or dinner in a variety of scenic locations.
