As if growing out of the Nyoni rock face on which it is built, Isandlwana Lodge captures all the drama and texture of the area’s rich history, whilst offering total relaxation, comfort and luxury for guests.

There are 12 luxury rooms with en suite bedrooms and tastefully decorated. Rooms have private balconies and lovely views.

Experienced, specialist guides will bring to life the battles on the Zulu War Battlefields. Learn about the heroes of Rorkes Drift, the battle of Isandlwana and Fugitives Drift. Even if you not a historian the stores are fascinating and bring to life an era that has never been forgotten.

Horse-riding is also possible and guides with experience of the history will take you through open landscapes and beautiful scenery - even if you not interested in all the history the ride is lovely.

Isandlwana Lodge offers a good base to explore the Battlefields and we do recommend a minimum of 2 nights here.
