With a heritage facade and a fresh contemporary design, Hotel Stripes offers a comfortable, fun option in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Much of the area, once built of wood and thatch, was destroyed in the late 19th Century. Rebuilding occurred with the same design but less flammable materials, creating a distinctive shophouse style that has withstood time. This makes it a unique part of the city, worth exploring even if you aren't staying at Hotel Stripes.

Guest rooms are comfortably appointed, decorated in soothing tones with black and white photos of the city's heritage adorning the walls. All rooms have a sofa, city views, and a few unique touches. Deluxe rooms have either one king or two twin beds. The larger Studio rooms have a king bed and we recommend these for the extra space. A limited number of inter-connecting rooms are available. Club rooms, both Deluxe and Studio, include a complimentary non-alcoholic minibar and access to an exclusive lounge complete with evening cocktails.

Hotel Stripes is home to one restaurant and a bar. Brasserie 25 is open for lunch and dinner and dishes up a European-influenced menu in a French-style space. Man Tao sits beside the rooftop infinity pool serving drinks and small bites with excellent city views.

The hotel is located 45 minutes to one hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. KLCC and the Petronas Twin Towers can be reached in a 25-minute walk or 15-minute drive. The neighbourhood around the hotel is home to a number of cafés and restaurants.
