The very first hotel in the charming colonial town of Lencois. We recently stayed here in a patio room, spacious, comfortable and right in town!
Expect plenty of birds in the morning whilst you take breakfast and even spotting small monkeys in the gardens.
The property has a charming and welcoming reception area, free parking if you are on a self-drive holiday to Chapada Diamantina, and a good restaurant if you one day you feel tired and do not wish to eat in town.
The hotel is a 5 minutes walk to the centre, where you will find plenty of choices for food and drinks. There are some walks that you can take straight from the hotel and town.
We stayed in a patio room and although simple, the rooms are very comfortable and the addition of a veranda and garden straight from your room was a lovely touch.
The morning breakfast was plentiful and good and it is always included in your stay.
Just bear in mind that not all staff speaks English, but this is the beauty of the area, it is more off the beaten path so go with an adventurous spirit.
