Finca Valentina, run by Italian owners Valentina and Fabrizio, is a rustic, refined ranch just outside Salta in the vineyard filled foothills of the northwestern Andes.
Fabrizio and Valentina, originally from Milan, Italy, opened this little gem in 2008, looking to offer to adventure travellers all the possible comfort in this remote part of the world, unique and spectacular.
The ranch is located 6 minutes from the airport of Salta by car and approx. 25 minutes from downtown.
The Rooms
The seven bedrooms evoke simple luxury with large beds, rocking chairs and wonderful views out to the garden and mountains. The rooms are decorated in a rustic and natural style, with attention to details and comfort. All rooms have a safe, heating, air condition or a fan and Wi-Fi.
The four double Standard Rooms offer a Queen size bed, private bathroom and access to the gallery. The three Superior Rooms have a King size bed, private bathroom and a terrace with lounge chair to relax. The Suite Deluxe is a spacious and private room on the first floor, with King size bed and private bathroom. Its private terrace offers an amazing view on the surroundings mountains. The family room for 3 or 4 personas has two separated rooms and a shared bathroom in between. From is private terrace with chairs you can enjoy the garden of the finca. Baby cots are available for free.
The Facilities
Meals are taken in the finca’s living and dining area, a welcoming, intimate space with comfortable white sofas, hide-strapped chairs, and carefully placed gaucho artefacts. Drinks are served at the table with cigars, in front of the fire, or out on the veranda.
An unheated pool with majestic mountain views in the finca’s gardens, comes complete with big-cushioned recliners and wooden decks.
The hotel offers to take guests out riding or learn how to make regional specialties during cooking classes.
