The focus here is on privacy and intimate views of the wildlife of this beautiful area. Making use of their private beach and large property, it is the perfect place to come and see wildlife and spend some time out in this windswept wilderness.
The Rooms
The house itself is a colonial styled Ranch House clad in wood with a large open veranda at the front. It features 8 comfortable rooms, a cozy living room with an open fireplace and a dining room. Throughout the house and rooms the owners have taken great care in its decoration and there are some lovely homely touches. The comfortable rooms with a private bathroom with bathtub in each, and can be assembled as needed to accommodate individual parties.
The Facilities
Owners Agustín (who speaks English) and María provide all the services required to get the most out of a stay, including 4WD vehicles and guided hikes to private beaches to see elephant seals, fur seals, sea lions, penguins and to look out for right whales (July to December) and orcas. There are mountain bikes and horses available to ride, as well as birdwatching and stargazing sessions. All activities are included in the room rate.
The communal areas will make guests feel like being at home with comfortable sofas and a small fire -just what is needed after a long walk or day out on the peninsular. The living room with its overstuffed sofas is the ideal place for resting after a long day of exploration, it has a varied library of books about the fauna of the Península Valdés.
