A delightful boutique resort nestled in a tropical garden oasis tucked away on a gorgeous stretch of beach on the tropical island of Phu Quoc.

One of our favourite resort’s on the island; Cassia Cottages seamlessly blends charming character with a touch of luxury. What began as a small collection of cottages has now grown into a superb and well-designed resort that has retained its family-feel vibe.

With three swimming pools and a great restaurant this is a top choice for families and couples alike. We love the latest addition to the pools; a huge infinity pool with direct beach access - it sits on a raised private sand area that is decked out with sunbeds overlooking the sea - the perfect place to watch the sunset or have an early evening cocktail.

There are two different sides of the resort to stay on. The original 18 cottages have a more basic feel to them, whilst still being very comfortable and clean (think tiled ceramic floors, plain walls and wooden beds) whilst the rooms in the new side of the resort offer a more luxurious experience - they are beautifully decorated and some have outdoor bathrooms.

In the Original development you can choose from Garden Cottages, Seaview Rooms, Large Seaview Rooms and The Beach House. The Garden Cottages are more basic but still very comfortable, furnished with natural, local wood furniture and a private veranda with pretty garden views. The Seaview Rooms are slightly more spacious, while the Larger Seaview Rooms are twice as big and very spacious. The Beach House is ideal for families. It is extremely spacious with two rooms and two en-suites, with a large veranda that boasts great views out to the sea. All rooms have air conditioning, a fan, hot and cold water, wi-fi and en-suites. There are no televisons.

Over on the new side of the resort you have the Modern Deluxe and Modern Premium rooms to choose from. All of the new rooms have private terraces and many have private verandas with more privacy. The modern deluxe rooms are in one and two-storey buildings near the infinity pool - the majority of deluxe rooms are on the second floor. These are a great option for families as some are inter-connecting. The Modern Premium rooms are equipped with outdoor showers – as well as indoor ones - and are on the ground floor so you are just steps away from the infinity pool.

The Spice House restaurant serves Vietnamese as well as international food and prides itself on cooking only natural and fresh selected products. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner in the beautiful tropical garden by the sea or on the beach.

The hotel is also on the central stretch of the island so there are plenty of other places to eat nearby. In saying that, Phu Quoc is still a very quiet island so don’t expect too much late night partying.

Phu Quoc is the largest island in Vietnam and lies in the Gulf of Thailand just 15 kilometers from Cambodia. Approximately half of the island is forested and the beaches are open and unspoiled.
