When The Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola came to Buenos Aires for the making of the film “Tetro”, he fell in love with the city. Now his home in Buenos Aires is open to guests, as an intimate bed & breakfast.
Each room is named for a member of the Coppola family and features terracotta tiles and exquisite antique furnishings and textiles. All rooms have a TV, hairdryer, minibar and safe.
The seven guest rooms surround the patio, there are four doubles on the first floor – two with balconies over the patio; two sharing a balcony onto the street. Then there are two slightly larger, cooler ground floor suites – including Francis, where the director stays on visits. All the rooms are slightly different.
Baby cots are available.
The hotel offers a beautiful living room, with a big TV and small library, where breakfast and drinks are served. Other common areas include a patio full of plants and a pond on the ground floor. The upper terrace offers a lovely setting for an evening drink. Coffee is available round the clock. The small pool in the patio is great for a refreshment after a day of sightseeing.
The breakfast is a spread of seasonal fruits, fresh orange juice, cheeses and meats, eggs made to order, cereals, medialunas (croissants), yogurt drinks and coffee or tea.
