Exclusive resort on private Pamalican island off the coast of Palawan offering spacious casitas and villas in serene luxury.
The resort is comprised of private casitas and a small number of villas. Beach Casitas have private sandy paths direct to the beach as well as hammocks and wooden decks. Treetop Casitas feel like a jungle hideaway with views of the rainforest canopy while Hillside Casitas offer lovely sea views. One Deluxe Hillside Casita boasts an even more stunning ocean view. Two Treetop Pool Casitas feature a private wooden sundeck and swimming pool with views over the treetops toward the Sulu Sea.
The luxury villas are each staffed by a private chef and butler. Designed to offer complete privacy and freedom, guests are given the use of club cars (one per bedroom) to explore the island. Each villa has a living and dining pavilion as well as a kitchen. The One-bedroom villa opens out to a shaded swimming pool with expansive outdoor dining and lounging spaces. Two-bedroom villas are built around a large swimming pool and have an incredible amount of space both indoors and out. Designed around a stunning infinity pool, the four-bedroom villa offers exquisite privacy and elegance. All villas have direct access to the beach.
The resort offers a variety of amenities and excursions such as diving, snorkelling, kitesurfing (December-March), sailing, nature walks, bicycle rides, tennis, an award-winning spa, wellness activities such as yoga and meditation, and miles of beach on which to walk or stretch out. It's just as easy to stay active at Amanpulo as it is to do nothing.
Produce from the island's organic garden and freshly caught seafood take prominence in the resort's menus. Meals can be enjoyed at the Clubhouse, Beachclub, Lagoon Club, Picnic Grove, in private salas, beach barbecues, and picnics. On the east side of the island on a pristine stretch of sand sits Nama, a fine dining venue open for dinner December-May where specialties such as Wagyu beef and Tokyo-distilled sake are flown in to complement local ingredients in the creation of elegant Japanese cuisine.
Pamalican Island sits northeast of Palawan, 360 kilometres south-west of Manila. There are two daily scheduled flights between Manila and Amanpulo which must be arranged as part of your reservation. These 70-minute flights are on a 15-seat airplane and there is a 20kg luggage limit per guest inclusive of hand luggage. Private charter flights from other points in the country may be possible.
