Accommodation consists of eight luxury tents and three chalets, all privately situated, comfortably furnished and with en-suite facilities. All these rooms are none smoking.

Luxury Tents:Luxurious tented accommodation offers generous bush or water views from your own private viewing deck. Tents are spaced and far apart to ensure privacy. Twin beds, en-suite bathroom with bath/shower and double vanity basin. Air conditioning, outside shower/bath, wardrobe with coat hangers and complimentary toiletries provided with private viewing deck.
Family Chalets:This child-friendly safari camp have three family chalets available, each with two separate bedrooms sharing one bathroom. One of the family chalets can accommodate five persons, whilst the other two family chalets can accommodate four persons. Double, twin and/or triple beds, en-suite bathroom with separate bath and shower. Double vanity basin (complimentary toiletries provided), wardrobe with coat hangers and air conditioning. Private viewing decks.

Simbavati River Lodge is situated is in the northern sector of the Timbavati Nature Reserve, surrounded by over 12 000 hectares of wildlife rich wilderness. You can relax in the lounge, bar, boma and extensive decks with breathtaking views overlooking the Nhlaralumi river where regular wildlife sightings take place. Breakfast is served outside on the wooden deck and dinner alternatively served around the campfire in the open-air boma or in the thatched restaurant.

The lodge offers game drives in the early morning and evening to ensure game viewing when the animals are most active. Game drives are conducted by experienced rangers, in open 4X4 vehicles. Currently there are over 40 mammal species in the Timbavati including the Big Five of Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo and Elephant as well as 360 species of bird life. At the ranger's discretion, younger children will be allowed to join their parents on game drives and exclusive use of game vehicles can be arranged. This is one of the few places where you have the opportunity to see the unique white lion in their natural environment.
