There are 8 spacious, pavilion-style luxury tents with commanding views over the bushveld. Each suite is made up of 2 individual tents that are linked together by a passage. The one tent is your bedroom and the other a separate bathroom that can open up on the one side allowing for an indoor or outdoor shower experience.

The main lodge area offers a game viewing deck that overlooks the river as well as the surrounding reserve. The infinity pool offers panoramic views of the reserve, extending across to the Drakensberg Mountains in the distance. There is also a covered pool lounge for those seeking some shade from the heat of the day. During the day you can also relax in the lounge which has a selection of books and board games. The 360 degree bar is the perfect place to enjoy a pre-dinner drink or an afternoon tipple! For those who have to stay in touch there is WiFi in the main public areas.

Your stay at Simbavati Hilltop Lodge is inclusive of all meals as well as local drinks and all your game activities. You will join your ranger for early morning game drives in the reserve as well as drives in the late afternoon/early evening. These are the best times to view animals as they are more active than during the heat of the day.

The Timbavati Game Reserve offers excellent game viewing and there are no fences between here and the Kruger National Park so the animals do roam freely. Home to many species of animals including the ‘Big 5’, you can be sure of a memorable safari experience.

Access to Simbavati Hilltop Lodge is convenient with daily flights from Johannesburg to East Gate Airport. You would then take a short transfer to the lodge. Simbavati Hilltop Lodge can easily be included into a holiday taking in the larger Kruger area including the breath-taking Panorama Route.
