There are only 12 spacious, air-conditioned suites, each 100sqm with en suite bathroom. Views are directly over the ocean from a large private terrace surrounded by palms trees and bougainvillea. There is a sitting area plus large double beds and large cupboard. The large bathroom has a walk in shower and free standing bathtub plus a double sink vanity. Additional features include a mini bar, statellite tv, DVD player, telephone, hairdryer and a safe deposit box. Whilst boasting gorgeous sea views from the veranda, the rooms do not have direct beach access, but it is a short walk to the main access point for beach.

Zawadi has a sophisticated, yet laid back and relaxed atmosphere with elegant beach décor and the layout of the lodge offers a sandy white beach with endless views. You can enjoy swimming throughout the day and go snorkelling straight from the beach or just laze the days away around the pool.

The main areas of the lodge feature an infinity pool as well as the ocean view bar and a dining area. There is also an evening bar and dining area for intimate dinners plus some evenings there are local Zanzibar musicians to entertain you with local music during dinner.

There is a PADI diving centre nearby where you can do diving plus your stay includes a complimentary snorkel trip. The small spa offers lovely treatments for extra relaxation and a gym for those wanting to keep fit. They also have a lovely nature gym outside in the back garden area for those who prefer the outdoors. Zawadi also offers a shuttle service between the sister lodges where you have access to the gym, larger spa and tennis courts.

Your stay is on a fully inclusive basis with all meals, house drinks as well as use of snorkelling equipment, kayaks and scheduled shuttles between sister properties.
