Just outside of the town is the Spice Farms that offer an informative tour and you can also take a boat trip to Prison Island from the harbour. However to make the most out of your Zanzibar experience we recommend to spend the spend a night or two in Stone Town and then go and relax on one of the many beach resorts or hotels on the island for a couple of days? or a week?. Or longer! Zanzibar is a great island escape offering an oyster of choices of things to do from lazing on the beach to more active things like snorkelling, diving, swimming with dolphins or just sipping cocktails..

Access to Zanzibar is easy with daily flights from both Nairobi and Dar es Salaam and there are also connections from the Tanzania and Kenya safari circuits allowing for the ultimate beach & safari breakaway.
