Waterberry Zambezi Lodge offers guests a variety of accommodation options with an informal and welcoming atmosphere. All of its thatch-roofed cottages are set around the Lodge’s sprawling lawns and gardens along the banks of the Zambezi. All the cottages are equipped with en-suite rooms and a private terrace where guests can sit and enjoy a meal, or simply take in the views. Each cottage is uniquely decorated and named after one of the birds in the region, and comes with mosquito nets, fans and air conditioning to ensure maximum comfort. There are a number of rooms suited to couples as well as families travelling together.

The main lodge area overlooks the Zambezi and the game park on its opposite bank. In the upstairs section guests will find a lounge with comfortable seating from which they can enjoy the views, read a book, or survey the interesting collection of old African maps. Meals are usually served on the ground floor in the dining area, or alfresco on the sun terrace overlooking the river. Alternatively, guests may choose to dine in private on their terraces, or on one of the secluded platforms around the lodge. The lodge also features a large swimming pool, as well as a child-friendly splash pool, surrounded by tables, chairs and sun loungers where guests can cool off during the hot summer days.

Activities around the lodge include sunset or dawn Zambezi cruises, including drinks and snacks, as well as tours of The Victoria Falls, the town of Livingstone, and the local village. Guests can also enjoy guided birding through the bush and fishing along the river. In addition to these, nearby activities include helicopter and microlight flights over the magnificent Victoria Falls, bungee jumping, canoeing, horse riding, game walks, a variety of animal encounters and many many more.
