"We loved the villa option with private pool. This worked really well for us as a family and the beach was beautiful" - Bettina P, July 2019

Much larger than the type of accommodation we usually favour, the Hyatt Regency gains huge brownie points for its incredible facilities including a great selection of bars, restaurants and swimming pools. It is on a beautiful stretch of beach in central Vietnam, near the town of Hoi An, and the rooms are elegant and tastefully decorated.

We think this resort is perfect for families because there is plenty of space for the kids to run around in a safe space, while the bars, restaurants and adult-only pool create the perfect environment for parents who want to get away from it all. This is not a resort that has cut any corners, from the beautifully appointed rooms and splendid spa to the elegant selection of restaurants on offer; this resort may be large but we love it.

The resort has five swimming pools in total, including the Beach Pool, the Garden Pool, the Fitness Pool, the Regency Club Pool and the Residences Pool. Other resort facilities include a fitness centre, tennis courts, and Camp Hyatt offers a wide range of activities for children and younger guests.

Guests can dine at the inviting Green House restaurant which serves Vietnamese and Italian cuisine overlooking the main pool or at the al fresco Pool House. Seafood and grill dishes accompanied by panoramic sea views can be enjoyed at the Beach House.

The rooms are fresh and contemporary and all feature a balcony or terrace, air-conditioning, television, DVD player, complimentary internet access, coffee maker, marble bath and rain shower. The Standard rooms are fantastic value with terraces and a sitting area inside - the decor is super smart with creams and soft wood panelling. You can upgrade to a Club Ocean View room or join the Regency Club which gives you exclusive access to the club pool, breakfast, separate check-in and sundowner cocktail hour.

The Suite rooms are twice the size of the Standard Rooms Subtle and are decorated with Vietnamese-inspired lamp fixtures, hanging motifs and ceramic vases. The rooms have a definitively Asiatic yet modern feel and double balconies provide ample space to enjoy the ocean vista. The Suites automatically come with Regency Club Benefits as above.

The resort also boasts a number of private residencies that are rented to holidaymakers and extremely spacious one to three-bed villas, each with a private pool, which make a superb choice for families.

The Hyatt Regency Da Nang sits on an idyllic white sand beach on the coast between Danang and Hoi An, overlooking the picturesque Son Tra peninsula. It is approximately 15 minutes from Danang and 30 to Hoi An via the hotel’s complimentary shuttle bus.
