"Aira was a really good option for us - beautiful bedrooms, wonderful staff." - Mary F, Aug 2019

With 20 luxurious rooms & suites, a spa, a beautiful tropical garden and an outdoor swimming pool, Aira is a haven for those that are seeking a boutique hotel near the beach.

Whereas the other beach hotels near Hoi An are resorts and sit on Cua Dai Beach; Aira offers a very different experience as it is on the lesser visited An Bang Beach (home to homestays and local residents but no resorts). The beach is more rustic, with dusty little back lanes and small shops selling the bare essentials. If you're looking for top notch facilities this is not for you but if you're seeking a boutique hideaway and a slightly more off the beaten track experience read on.

Please note this hotel is about 30m away from the beach (there are not really any hotels on this beach so this is as close as they get!) Hotel guests can take a beach bed from one of the nearby funky chill-out beach bars (just buy a drink and the bes is yours all day) but please note the hotel does not have a private beach with day beds.

Aira offers delightful accommodation options. All rooms offer either spacious balcony or terrace areas as well as differently sized sitting areas and are equipped with beautiful fitted furniture, air conditioning, a 45-inch LED TV, fully stocked mini-bar and free Wi-Fi. Some offer a choice between King-sized beds or two single beds and all have en-suite bathrooms with walk-in rain showers.

The Deluxe Balcony/Terrace rooms are 30 m2 and offer either a private balcony or terrace with views of the garden.
The Premier Deluxe Balcony/Terrace rooms are 30 - 34 m2 and offer either a private balcony or terrace overlooking the garden or the outdoor pool.
The Suite Balcony/Terrace are 35 m2, with an open-plan design, and a private balcony/terrace giving views of the garden and outdoor pool. The ensuite bathrooms also include a bathtub.
The Attic Suite Balcony, which was our favourite room of all, is 55 m2, of which a spacious 15 m2 balcony is included, with picturesque views of the garden, the pool and the sea. The open-plan design Attic Suites include a rainforest shower and a sitting area with large sofa in their layout.

For families or groups of friends up to 4 people, Aira has two different choices, both with 2 queen-sized beds, ensuite bathroom with bathtub & rainforest shower.
The Family Terrace is 42 m2 and is an ideal choice for a limited budget. With a private terrace overlooking the garden and 1 ensuite bathroom.
The Premier Family Balcony is 55 m2 and it has two floors, one big room is located downstairs with a queen-sized bed and a loft upstairs with another queen-sized bed. Rooms have a balcony with views of tropical garden and 2 en-suite bathrooms.

The Duplex Suite Balcony can host up to 5 people and is 60 m2. Spanning the uppermost two floors, with a king-sized bed on upper floor and 2 twin beds downstairs. Room has a balcony and windows with views of surrounding gardens and two en-suite bathrooms with rain shower.

For dining at the Hotel, the Aira Garden Restaurant is a great choice for outdoors dining for lunch and dinner, and it offers different vietnamese and international cuisines.

Among the facilities to highlight there’s the Spa, with authentic vietnamese treatments alongside with a beautifully arranged space and the Pool, with an extra relaxing atmosphere that can be enjoyed with snacks and drinks poolside.

Another highlight are the activities, the cooking classes, that make a point to explore the different cuisines of Vietnam and even provide you with all the goodies to recreate what you learned back home! You can also enjoy a delightful afternoon tea in the gardens or your private terrace.

Besides, there is an array of local Vietnamese, seafood and Italian restaurants & bars along the beach as well as bars and a few shops on the street nearby. Water sports are on the beach in front of the hotel and a golf course is 4km away.

For those who want to explore the area, the UNESCO-heritage Hoi An ancient town is less than 5 kms (cycling over there along the rice paddy field is another great experience), and Da Nang international airport is only a 20-minute drive.

Our tip: There are no lifts so make sure you are happy to climb stairs if higher than ground level! And if you're okay with the stairs - definitely take the Attic room, it's fab!
