Welcome to the Nusay Hotel, a five-star property located between the new and old city in the heart of Ashgabat, Turkmenistan’s capital. Built in 1996, the hotel has been recently renovated and refurbished from top to toe. Spread across five storeys, the 128 guest rooms each have air-conditioning, a TV, internet access and an en-suite bathroom. Room service is available around the clock, as is the hotel’s laundry service.

The hotel has several restaurants serving a range of European and Turkmen dishes, while there are plenty more dining options within a 20-minute walk. Front desk staff will be happy to recommend their favourite restaurants and cafés. After a busy day of sightseeing, take a dip in the hotel’s outdoor pool, unwind in the sauna or swing by the tennis court for a quick game. Alternatively, pull up a pew at the elegant lobby bar where the hospitable bar staff will fix you a well-earned drink. We recommend vodka, if you’d like to do as the locals do.
