Villa Red promises guests both a relaxing and adventurous break. The luxurious villa, which comes with your very own chef, will allow you to relax and rejuvenate in perfect surroundings. At the same time, the town of Bentota is perhaps best known for adventurous water sports, offering plenty of opportunities to try something new.

The villa is beautifully furnished from start to finish. It features four uniquely decorated large bedrooms as well as a deluxe master bedroom, which is separated from the rest of the villa. The master suite is furnished with antique furniture, a king-size four poster bed and has its own living area and access to a private deck. It is also equipped with a large flat screen TV and DVD player, is fully air-conditioned and has a very spacious bathroom with his and hers washroom areas.

Meanwhile, the four bedrooms, which also have en suites and air conditioning, have four very different themes. The Boxing Room features large framed images of the boxing legend Mohammed Ali along with the owner's personal boxing memorabilia, while the Beatles Room depicts black and white photographs of John Lennon and the rest of the band. The Liberation Room tells the tale of the journey taken towards freedom by the former Soviet Nation and the Vietnam displays some intriguing art from the country's struggle during the revolution.

The villa has a large living room with a large flat screen TV with cable connection, a home theatre system, a large collection of DVDs and an antique radio. There is also a lounge area, complete with a collection of books.

The dining area is an extension of the living room and opens out into the garden, which features a private swimming pool and decking onto the river. Guests can choose from an extensive menu for dinner and lunch, which has a mix of local and international dishes.

Bentota is a great area for those who like being active with watersports, surfing, snorkeling, bike rides, fishing and kayaking on offer not far from the hotel. For those who enjoy a more gentle pace of life take a river safari, visit Beruwela fish market and temple, release newborn turtles at the conservation center in Kosgoda, take a drive in a open top Morris Minor to Lunuganga House and Gardens or catch a train along the coastal railway to Galle where you will find the UNESCO Dutch Fort.
