All rooms and suites offer a private entrance lobby, separate bath and shower, double vanity, heated towel rails, twin wardrobes, hairdryers, king/twin beds, pillow service, air-conditioning & heating, internet access, ipod docking stations, satellite television, DVD players, international plug points (220v) A/C, electronic safe, tea / coffee making facilities and personal bar.

There is a total of 78 rooms which are as follows:
Mountain Rooms (15): boast views of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles mountain range
Classic Situated (8): on the ground floor level with private patio and direct access to main pool and lounger deck facility
Club Classic (6): north facing rooms with views of Lions Head, partial sea views. Two of these are equipped for the disabled. Regretfully no balconies
Premier Mountain (3): double sized rooms boast private spa baths with magnificent mountain views
Premier Pool (8): north facing rooms with views of Lions Head and partial sea views overlooking the pool area.
Premier Sea (32): direct sea-facing rooms overlooking the Atlantic Ocean
Cabanna (12): ground floor with sea views, enjoyed from oversized chairs on the private and spacious patio.
Luxury (2): spacious sea-facing rooms with private balcony, sun loungers and outdoor spa bath
Suites (3): beautifully appointed and spacious, with delightful sea views and private balconies with spa bath
Penthouse: boasts luxurious interiors and expansive sea views, The Penthouse at The Bay is sheer sea-facing splendour. This suite is accessed by a Hollywood staircase and comprises of audiovisual entertainment lounge, living and dining area, spacious bedroom, dressing room, bathroom with separate shower and spa bath and expansive balcony with views of the ocean and Lions head.

The Bay Hotel boasts 4 restaurants to enjoy meals and any guest staying here is also spoilt for choice with the many restaurants that are located within walking distance of the hotel. There are 4 swimming pools with expansive sun decks and views of the Atlantic ocean. Enjoy a sundowner from the bar or indulge in a spa treatment.

Families and couples with children over the age of 8 years are welcome at The Bay Hotel (there are no interleading rooms).
