There are 12 spacious en suite bedrooms ranging from luxury, superior, honeymoon and a family cottage. All rooms are tastefully decorated with their own entrances and air-conditioning. Relax on the sunny verandas overlooking the green lawns and manicured gardens. All rooms have a television and mini bar.

La Plume is a privately owned guest lodge and you can enjoy a tour of the farm, see the process of the ostrich farming or just lie by the pool and soak up the sun! Accommodation is on a B&B basis, however home-made dinners can be prepared on request, or you can take the short drive (approximately 10km) into Oudtshoorn to enjoy a meal.

Oudtshoorn is known as the 'Feather Capital' and is home to a number of large ostrich farms and also the famous Cango Caves. The region makes a good stop over when travelling along the Route 62 to the Garden Route and having 2 days here will give you time to visit the main attractions as well as take a drive up the spectacular Swartberg Pass. For the adventure enthusiasts there is quad biking, abseiling and mountain biking as well as various hiking options in the mountains.

Expect personalised service and attention to detail. La Plume offers a good option for couples, honeymooners and families to explore this Karoo region.
