There are 10 en suite chalets, each individually decorated with air-conditioning, overhead fan, safe and tea/coffee making facilities. The en suite bathrooms are spacious and also boast an outside shower. Relax on the private deck of your chalet enjoying the tranquil bush surrounds. There are no televisions in the rooms, however you can catch up on sport in the lounge where there is satellite television.

Idube Game Lodge is set in an indigenous garden with tall trees for shade and green lawns. Designed to fit in with the natural bush surrounds, the thatched bar area offers a good place to relax with a drink or unwind in the open plan lounge. The swimming pool is a popular place to cool off and enjoy the sounds of the birds and seeing some of the animals on the reserve. Idube Game Lodge has some families of nyala antelope and warthogs who roam freely around the lodge.

Meals are prepared by experienced chefs and dining options range from the boma to another bush boma that really makes you feel that you are in the African bush! Cooler nights dinners are enjoyed at the lodge.

Idube Game Lodge welcomes couples and families with children aged 8 years and older. We recommend the sister lodge Lukimbi Safari Lodge that offers a family friendly safari in private concession of the southern Kruger National Park.

Your stay at Idube Game Lodge includes all meals and 2 daily game drives with experienced rangers who will share their knowledge of the bush with you. You will enjoy game drives in open land rovers in the big five Sabi Sand Private Reserve which is home to lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, leopard, rhino, giraffe, zebra, kudu, hyena, wild dog and a minimum of 200 bird species. You will also see the smaller game like warthog, jackal, hare (wild rabbit) and if you lucky a pangolin. Sabi Sand Private Reserve has a reputation for one of the best places in South Africa to see leopard, however as they are wild animals what you see is never guaranteed.

Access to Idube Game Lodge is possible with daily direct flights from Johannesburg International Airport (OR Tambo). Alternatively you can include a stay here with a safari exploring the greater Kruger region. Speak to us for the best way to include into your South Africa safari.
