Arathusa offers 8 water-facing suites and 4 bush-facing suites.
The water-facing suites are overlooking the waterhole. Each unit has an en-suite bathroom with shower, as well as an outdoor shower and a private veranda.
The bush-facing suites, which are remote located, away from the main lodge to give you a more intimate atmosphere, have a private plunge pool, a private veranda as well as an inside and outside shower.

All suites offer a mini bar (stocked with a selection of beverages), an electronic safe, hairdryer, air conditioning, direct-dial telephone, mosquito net and tea/ coffee making facilities.

In keeping with the bush, safari experience Arathursa do not have televisions on the rooms nor telephones. However, guests are welcome to use the WiFi in the public areas and reception.

The main lodge area of Arathursa Safari Lodge lends an intimate feel and is completely open plan. Relax in the lounge, enjoy a drink at the bar or soak up the sun by the infinity swimming pool that overlooks the waterhole, and is the perfect spot for wildlife viewing while cooling off on a sweltering African summer’s afternoon. The open-air boma invites you to have a traditional dinner under the stars, here you can enjoy real African dishes as well as some fine dining.

Arathusa also offers a great spa & wellness experience. The treatment room overlooks the waterhole and the African bushveld.

Arathursa Safari Lodge is owner managed and you can expect a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere when staying her, an ideal place for couples and families with children over the age of 12.

Your stay includes all meals, house wines, beers and spirits, tea & coffee and two daily game drives as well as optional bush walks.

Experienced, knowledgeable rangers are paired with local trackers, and together they ensure a memorable safari experience. Trackers sit up at the front of the vehicle looking for fresh animal tracks, while rangers skilfully navigate into ravines and through thickets in pursuit of fantastic game sightings such as the Big-5 (Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo & Elephant), and various other species of wildlife like giraffe, zebra, warthog, impala, cheetah and jackal to mention the highlights. This is also a popular area for bird-watching.

The Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve has a reputation for its excellent leopard sightings, however what you see is never guaranteed as after all it is nature.

The Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve is adjacent to the Kruger National Park and there are no fences between the two game reserves so animals can roam freely. This is one of the best reserves in South Africa to enjoy a big five safari.
