Ormlie Lodge is an elegant country home built in 1899. It is now a small luxury hotel, which combines charming original features with touches of contemporary design and colour. The Lodge is just 15 minutes’ drive from both Napier and Hastings and ideally located for access to the vineyards and their many top class restaurants, cycle trails and excellent local golf courses.

Driving up the shaded driveway you will pass under a bower of ancient trees that surround the property before arriving at the sweeping lawns surrounded by rose gardens and the impressive house itself. Downstairs there is a cosy bar area where guests can relax with a drink or light bites. There is also a restaurant serving a la carte dining every evening with a tempting menu made up of fresh locally sourced ingredients.

There are six guest rooms, each full of character. All feature beautifully designed beds, modern en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, flat-screen TVs and iPod docking stations. Some have direct access onto the spacious verandah overlooking the beautiful gardens.

A continental breakfast is included each morning with the option to upgrade to a cooked option from the menu.
