Villa Bagan exceeds expectations. The location is brilliant - with the monuments right outside the property, a pool with shade, lovely breakfasts. Their friendly staff is super helpful, and their location slightly outside of the main area makes it lovely and peaceful.

The hotel offers two different kinds of accommodation: Deluxe and Superior Rooms. All rooms offer minibar, TV, Air conditioning, hardwood floors and outdoor seating area.
Superior rooms are 26 m2 and offer twin or double beds, Deluxe rooms are the largest with 32m2 and open up right to the poolside.

There is also a rooftop bar and dining area with phenomenal views, and great eats both local and international.

Mingalar Zedi Pagoda is 5 km from Villa Bagan, while Law Ka Ou Shaung is 6 km from the property. The nearest airport is Nyaung U Airport, 10 km from the hotel.

Our tip: Do yourself a favor and hire E-bikes (the rental place is 10 steps from reception, and no license required), you will be able to explore both for temple tours as well as for getting the 1-2km into the main area of town at night for dinner.
