Les Jardins de Villa Maroc is a lovely Berber-style cottage situated in the Argan and Thuya forest, spread across 3 hectares of land. It is located about 12 minutes drive from Essaouira towards Marrakech. Former family house of the owners of the famous Villa Maroc, currently converted into family run B&B. It can accommodate up to nine people.

The design is largely derived from the Berber houses characteristic to the region. Stone walls, wooden beam Berber ceilings and tadelakt (polished plaster) decorated bathrooms are finished up to a warm, peaceful yet high standard. Beautiful surroundings, stylish courtyard, garden and forest location will leave you wandering in peace and tranquillity, a great contrast after staying in busy cities like Marrakech. Although not right on the beautiful beaches of Essaouira, it offers true relaxing atmosphere. Also there is a possibility to combine the stay over here with some time in Villa Maroc, one of the first riads established in the old city of Essaouira.

Jardins de Villa Maroc are fully equipped, including swimming pool, barbecue grill and outside dining areas. There is a friendly staff team to cater for your needs and if you fancy eating out, you can always head towards Essaouira, either staying in Villa Maroc to experience their famous cuisine or dine in one of the plenty of restaurants in Essaouira. Jardins de Villa Maroc offers taxi transfers to and from Essaouira.

Designed with nature in mind and ecologically friendly, using solar heating and solar power it is self-sufficient place. It comprises of lounge with fireplace, kitchen (fully staffed but also available for our clients as well) and three spacious suites. The suites and the rest of the cottage is furnished tastefully, using local fabrics, rugs and cushions, thuya wood furniture and some mosaics in the en-suite bathrooms. Suite Figuier in fact is a two bedroom suite with en suite bathroom, suitable for a couple with two children or four friends. Suites Menzeh and Patio are double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. There is also possibility to rent out the whole property for a family or a group of friends. The staff serve breakfast and dinner daily.

The property is located 15km from Essaouira, 175 km from Marrakech (& airport), 185 km from Agadir (& airport) although Marrakech is a quicker, easier drive.

Guests staying at Villa Maroc have free access to the pool at Jardins de Villa Maroc. There is an extra charge for exclusive use of the pool.
