The best views! Great location Beautiful courtyard Great central location
Tranquil oasis in the heart of the historic centre of Mexico City. The rooms are arranged around a tranquil and green roof top with hammocks. It was wonderful to take my morning coffee and get some work done overlooking the beautiful church dome. Rooms are sparsely furnished but good size and super clean. Wonderful breakfast cooked to order by the friendly staff.
Despite being in one of the biggest cities in the world, Chaya has a prime location. Located in the heart of Mexico City, facing the Alameda Park, Chaya rests on the top of a recently renovated building in a regenerated area. Right on your door step you find shops, fabulous restaurants, infusing Downtown Mexico City with the spirit of youth and locals food markets with all of the Mexican street food to die for.
Chaya is an alternative to the common hotel model: a space that travellers can make their own, meet other voyagers and explore the city on their own terms, at their own pace. With access to the most beautiful rooftop bar to catch sunset, it also has its own rooftop with hammocks to relax in surrounded by plants. Being limited to 11 rooms, it is also, cosy, familiar and relaxed.
The breakfast room has one of the best views of the city. Where you can grab a cup of Mexican coffee from the state of Chiapas, delight in some local breakfast delicacies and prepare for a day where you can discover the many corners and peculiarities that this eclectic city has to offer
Tip: The view is to die for, however, with no lift there are a few stairs to climb (although your bags will of course be carried for you!).
