Six Senses Duxton is set in a row of sustainably restored heritage trading houses in Duxton Hill, a quiet nook near Tanjong Pagar and colourful Chinatown. A diverse mix of Chinese, Malay and European elements have gone into the design, uniting Singapore's multi-cultural heritage and history.

Each of the rooms and suites are uniquely laid out and adorned with bespoke furnishings and decor. Shophouse Rooms have a contemporary, sleek design while the slightly larger Opium Rooms call upon the decadent opium dens of years past with intricate craftsmanship, lacquerware, and a four-poster bed. The similarly designed Opium Suite offers a separate dining and lounge area creating a sinful amount of space in a city.

For those seeking a rest from the colours of Chinatown, the Pearl Suite offers a haven in marble and white with handsome elegance, comfort, and bright light. On the ground floor, the Skylight Suite features a light-well converted into a salon and an emphasis on black laquerware. The two-storey Duxton Duplex Suite has an open lounge area with the en-suite bedroom sitting atop a spiral staircase. Named after the shophouse's original owners, the Montgomerie Suite has a spacious lounge and four-poster bed with design elements inspired by Singapore's colonial past.

All guest rooms can sleep a maximum of two people.

The in-house restaurant, Yellow Pot, offers classic and innovative Chinese cuisine favoring sustainably sourced ingredients, paired with artisanal cocktails crafted using traditional herbs and botanicals. Yellow Pot Bar serves a diverse selection of wine, local craft beer, spirits, Chinese tea, and other beverage. Be sure to try an "Escape To Kaifeng," the hotel’s signature cocktail.

Six Senses embraces a variety of sustainability practices including the exclusion of plastic, the use of locally-sourced ingredients including herbs from the rooftop garden atop Six Senses Maxwell, and the recycling, reusing, and repurposing of a variety of products.

A property highlight is the resident traditional Chinese physician who offers readings, health recommendations and medicinal herbal dispensary to guests of the hotel. Guests may walk across to Six Senses Maxwell and access the swimming pool, spa, and fitness centre there. Guests of Six Senses Duxton and Six Senses Maxwell may sign for services at either hotel.

The two Six Senses Singapore hotels are located near Chinatown with countless shops, restaurants, the Maxwell Food Centre, and city highlights on the doorstep. The hotels are approximately 20-minutes ride from Changi International Airport. The Tanjong Pagar MRT Station is about a 10-minute walk from the hotels.
