Conjuring up the colonial heyday of Luang Prabang, this sophisticated hotel boasts suite-only rooms set in five French-style pavilions set in verdant, lush gardens. Furnishings are sumptuous and there is an inviting swimming pool (one of the nicest in town).
Rooms are spacious and feature beautiful wood furnishings. They are air-conditioned and have several windows that allow much natural light and fresh air in. There is a seating area where great views of the garden can be enjoyed.
There are two suites to choose from; the Explorator Suite and the Pioneer Suite. The twenty Pioneer Suites offer soothing views from their open terraces and bow windows. Mountain scenery can be enjoyed from the first floor suites, while the ground floor suites look out onto the tropical grounds. Inside, large and delightful private bathrooms also open onto intimate gardens. Meanwhile, the four Explorator suites are almost twice as big and located on the upper floor of the main residence. Ideal for couples or small families, each suite offers twin or king sized beds with ample living space that includes a lounge area equipped with a writing desk and divan and open onto their own private, garden view terraces. The indulgent, spacious bathrooms feature oversized, egg shelled lacquer bathtubs, walk-in showers and double vanity units.
All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Certain units include a seating area for your convenience. Every room is equipped with a private bathroom. Extras include bath robes and slippers.
Guests can relax on the terrace to enjoy the sun or make use of the free bicycle hire to explore Luang Prabang. For a quiet afternoon indoors, a library and cigar room are provided.
