Sasaab houses 9 individually detached Moroccan-style rooms with large thatch roofs and canvas sides to keep out the heat of the African sun. Guests can choose from the Luxury Suites with its large open air bathrooms and private plunge pool with either a mini-garden or veranda. Alternatively couples travelling together or families with children can stay in the Family Villa with its two interconnecting rooms and private plunge pool. Each room is uniquely decorated in a contemporary North African style and includes a watercolour set and artist’s pad for guests to get creative during their stay.

The lodge has various areas where guests can enjoy fine cuisine, comprised of Kenyan and Moroccan flavour infusions. Guests can also choose to enjoy their meals in private, on the veranda or by the poolside, or a freshly cooked breakfast in the bush.

Sasaab Lodge offers game drives with sighting of a diverse group of animals including elephant, lions, leopards and cheetahs amongst many others. Guests can enjoy bird watching, camel rides, and even quadbike riding, for those seeking a bit of a thrill. The Lodge offers nature walks during various times of the day, with sundowners halfway during the evening walk. Guests can also spend a night or two under the African skies, which includes a long walk to the campsite, with camels carrying a picnic basket for a lunch stopover. Guests can immerse themselves in the local Samburu culture and way of life by visiting the local market, Samburu homestead as well as the primary school and clinic or even enjoy some Samburu sing and dance. There is also a gym, as well as a variety of massage and beauty treatments for those looking for some TLC.
