Set up by Chris and Nicola, who have extensive experience of luxury travel, they have seen to it that La Villa has everything possible to ensure even the busiest of guests can switch off, relax and feel at home from the word go. From check-in with a glass of prosecco, to check-out with a hug, this is the home away from home you will always wish you had!

Each one of the individual 14-bedrooms has been decorated with impeccable taste blending the old with the new. It manages to retain the historic features of the building, whilst ensuring that all creature comforts are met and then exceeded.

Le Vie restaurant is run by Head Chef Ian Simpson, who trained alongside Albert Roux and Gordon Ramsey. His menu is fresh and only uses locally sourced ingredients. In July 2014, La Vie restaurant was named by the Times newspaper as one of the Top 20 hotel restaurants. Menus are fixed and changed daily - you can never get tired of La Vie!

The extensive wine collection at La Villa is certainly not to be missed. Nicola is an avid wine collector and her cellar is something to be marvelled at. She and Chris are always on hand with help and guidance to ensure you are drinking the perfect glass.

Speak to a member of the hotel about arranging a trip to the local market - there is an antiques market close by which is held every Saturday with a huge array of items. La Villa can even help ship items if there is something that you just cant live without!
