Coco Ocean, is a stunning hotel with whitewashed domes, tumbling bougainvillaea and lush green lawns leading down to the quiet, unspoilt stretch of golden sands.

A popular feature of the hotel is the sumptuous adult-only spa with its hammam, sauna, steam room, Thalassotherapy pool, fitness room, ice plunge pool and treatment rooms in a sublime setting. However, Coco Ocean has a lot more to offer beyond this, not least the stunning location, tropical gardens and impressive three-tiered swimming pool.

There is a wide range of suites available all elegantly furnished, bright and spacious with white walls and splashes of colour. Our preferred suites are the seven sea-facing Club Villas, the four Royal Suites and the three Beach Houses. A second pool is exclusively shared between the guests of these suites (and seven non-sea facing Club Villas).

Each Sea Facing Club Villa has a large outdoor living area and sleeps up to three people. The Royal Suites, are large ground floor apartments, each with its own plunge pool, a separate bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a dining area and kitchenette, as well as an additional shower. They sleep up to four. For the best views, however, opt for a Beach House. These have an open-plan layout, sleep up to three people and are located directly overlooking the beach with a private terrace and garden area.

The beachfront restaurant offers light lunches during the day and a Thai menu by night. While a second restaurant offers alfresco and covered dining with an international menu, including several traditional African dishes. For a further choice of eateries, the buzzing resort of Kololi with its many restaurants is less than 2 miles away.
