Sitting at the top of one of the most idyllic coastal hillsides in Manuel Antonio, the Si Como No Resort and Wildlife Refuge is the ideal place to relax, recuperate and revel in the nature that surrounds you. With the rooms literally contoured into the hillside this property immerses its guests in the jungle whilst striking a great balance with design and comfort.

With an emphasis on sustainability, the property offers a wide range of tours and activities near by, making it the perfect base to explore the flora and fauna of the jungle, or to simply kick back, swim, and surf on the golden beaches of Manuel Antonio.

The 52 rooms all include their own private balconies with views over the forest and ocean, as well as all having air conditioning and en suite bathrooms and showers. The standard rooms are, naturally, more basic but still offer a good level of comfort, but perhaps less complete views from their balconies, and two queen sized double beds. The superior rooms are more spacious, with an extra seating space for relaxing, and more complete views, and the Deluxe rooms are another step up from this, with panoramic views of the jungle and ocean, and a high-ceilinged, split-level design with the king-sized bed being separated nicely from the sitting area. Deluxe suites are also available for bigger groups.

The food options here feature two restaurants, both of which use ingredients from their own gardens and sustainably sourced produce, with the Claro Que Seafood Grill offering an elegant dining experience with delicious cocktails and the freshest seafood: think upscale dining in a casual setting, with local ingredients and Costa Rican recipes with an original twist. For more casual dining there is also the Rico Tico Jungle Grill, famous for its Banana Flambe fire show, canopied dining area and poolside service. During the day the Boca Bar Mogotes offers spectacular views, swim-up bar, and poolside ‘light’ menu.

Whilst activities and tours of the local area are varied and exciting, the on site spa also offers the perfect alternative for the more sedentary days, with a wide range of relaxing treatments and wellness therapies, including massages, scrubs, facials, and mud wraps. A personal favourite is the tropical rainforest relaxation package, which involves being pampered whilst set within the jungle itself. A beautiful, memorable experience!
