Monteverde lodge offers 4 kinds of rooms: Forest View Balcony Rooms, Forest View Downstairs Rooms, Ground Floor Garden Superior Room and Ground Floor Garden Rooms. Rooms offer views of the forest and gardens. Both upstairs and downstairs rooms have solar-heated hot water showers, an in-room safe, coffee maker and ceiling fan. WiFi is included at no extra cost.
Ground Floor Garden rooms are the smallest of the property and feature a choice of either a king bed or 2 single beds. Ground Floor Garden Superior rooms are larger, feature a king bed and one sofa bed, a rain shower and double sink and direct access to the garden terrace.
Forest View Downstairs rooms are similar to Ground Floor Garden, but feature a different view, as the name indicates. Forest View Balcony rooms are similar but feature a private balcony with a forest view and two wooden chairs with a coffee table.

The lodge's El Jardin Bar & Restaurant offers a bar setting around an open fireplace. The menu offers traditional Costa Rican and international recipes made with local ingredients. Guests can also find a variety of dining options within 150 metres.

Among its facilities the hotel offers an extensive garden with a heated outdoor pool. Guests can also enjoy the indoor butterfly garden. The Monteverde Lodge & Gardens can arrange activities such as tours and hiking, horse riding and bird watching. The property also has experienced on-site guides that can organize day and night-time excursions into the wilderness.

The property is 6km from the Santa Elena Reserve and 5 km from the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Juan Santamaría International Airport and Liberia International Airport are both a 3-4 hour drive away.
