Finca Rosa Blanca is situated on an organic coffee plantation which was built 30 years ago in the surrounding area of San Jose. The property has a huge focus on environmental consciousness and proactive sustainable practices. A couple of examples of what the hotel has worked on are; in the last 25 years they have planted more than 7,000 native trees and are carbon neutral as well as 100% of their employees being from the area that the hotel is located.

This is a boutique hotel and all the rooms are different here in their shape style and decoration. They are split into three categories. The Junior Suites, Master Suites and Villas and depending on your group size or requirements we can suggest the best option for you. Most of the rooms can sleep three but there are some limited to two people. The largest villa can sleep up to 6 people as it is two villas connected together making sure there is plenty of private space for the whole group.

There are plenty of activities to do within the property or off site. The main focus is coffee and there are a few different coffee tours to enjoy from here as well as bird watching, hiking, meeting the community, a spa, swimming pool and hot tub. For those more adventurous you can head out from the property to enjoy river rafting, zip lining and exploring volcanoes. We can book these in advance for you or these can be arranged from the property itself.

Being a small hotel there is just one restaurant here, El Tigre Vestido & Bar Buho which is stocked daily from the hotels organic greenhouse and gardens to select the freshest ingredients for the dishes on the menu. Your breakfast will be included in the price and this includes brewed coffee from the property’s farm, fresh fruit and vegetables from the restaurants own organic gardens and orchards as well as eggs from the farms own free-range chickens.
