For those seeking an island getaway far from the crowds, Pirates Point offers a charming option on Little Cayman. This small, female-owned resort offers simple comforts, is renowned for its food, and gives you prime access to the colourful reef of Bloody Bay Wall.
Accommodation is in separate en suite cottages. Five cottages are set back from the ocean and include air conditioning and either two twin or one king bed. One of these is set aside for single guests and no single supplement is charged if this room is available for a solo traveller. Four of the cottages are ocean facing with porches looking out over the water. These four do not have air conditioning. Two rooms are suitable for a small family. The first is oceanfront and can sleep two adults and one child with a king bed and one single bed. The second can sleep two adults and two children and has an ocean view. Air conditioning in the family rooms is available at extra cost.
A stay at Pirates Point includes three gourmet meals a day and wine with the evening meal. Tea, coffee, iced tea, and lemonade are available throughout the day. Safe drinking water is provided via the resort's reverse osmosis system. We recommend guests bring a reusable water bottle. Meals are served in the air conditioned dining room in the evening, with lunch and breakfast primarily eaten in the outdoor patio or in the bar. All dishes are made from scratch without any processed foods. Local ingredients and seafood are incorporated as much as possible.
Snorkelling is available just off shore or off the dive boat. The Yellow Rose II is a well-equipped dive boat for up to 20 divers. Various levels of dive instruction are available and gear can be hired. There is no time limit on dives so long as safety standards are adhered to. Dive computers are available for rent. Pirates Point Resort is less than a 5-minute drive from Edward Bodden Airfield where flights from Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac land and depart. Mopeds and scooters are available for rent to explore the island. A few restaurants are within a short walk or bicycle ride. The team at Pirates Point can point you to nature trails for bird watching and iguana spotting.
