"The staff, including the GM Christian and FOH Sarah, were very accommodating and extremely friendly. They had the best brunch of all the hotels we stayed in during our holidays (although it is a tough choice!). We were given a complimentary massage which was very nice. They also provided a phone to call the complimentary tuk tuk that took us around." - Kara Z, Jan 2020

"We particularly liked the Jaya House because of its commitment to the environment and the local population." - Gill C, Dec 2019

"Jaya House was lovely, worth the price for the social conscience." - Peter B, Aug 2019

"Cannot rate this hotel highly enough, welcome was very special and the level of service didn't drop at any point during our stay. Interaction with every member of staff was of the highest standard and nothing was too much trouble." - Sara G, July 2018

"Thank you for sending us to Jaya House. Quite simply one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. Ticked all the boxes and went way beyond. That it is beautiful and luxurious goes without saying, but the exceptional staff and management attitude are what makes it so exceptional." - Sally W, Nov 2018

This hideaway hotel is a real gem in Siem Reap; from it's sparkling silver-tiled swimming pool to its social conscience efforts and plastic-free philosophy, it's a hotel that thinks outside the box and does things differently. And beautifully.

Oozing style, Jaya House River Park, showcases some fantastic art including that by internationally renowned local artist Eric Raisina and dozens of paintings that were commissioned from the city’s Small Art School, which gives free art classes to underprivileged children. There is no corner that has not been given a great deal of thought and consideration when it comes to design - and the bedrooms are equally stunning, decked out in soothing neutral tones and tactile fabrics.

Style aside, Jaya House was Cambodia's first plastic-free hotel, helping to launch the ReFill Not Landfill initiative, and there are water filters located throughout the hotel where you can fill up your Fleewinter water bottle that is given to you upon landing. The fresh coffee in the rooms is packaged in small strong paper pods unlike the normal plastic pods used in coffee machines and even the laundry baskets found in the room are made by local company Rehash Trash, which make every day items from recycled plastic. The hotel supports a number of local NGOs (at the time of writing this includes Green Gecko, Small Art School, Landmine Museum and a local music school) and $5 per room per night is donated amongst these causes. The hotel has also been involved in tree planting in and around Siem Reap.

Boasting 36 rooms with either a balcony or direct garden & pool access, you will be very comfortable here. The hotel offers complimentary WiFi, luxurious bedding, complimentary minibar, complimentary laundry and coffee machines. There are three different kinds of accommodations.

The Deluxe Room is 38 m2, with views of the pool or the tropical hanging gardens, choice of either a King Size bed or two Queen Size beds. An additional connecting Deluxe Room provides the convenience of a two-bedroom layout for family stays.
The Junior Suite is more spacious, with a separate living area. Three of the Junior Suites also come with an outdoor shower.
The Junior Pool Suite has a private plunge pool and 90 m2, ensuring comfort and the ultimate privacy.

The facilities include a Spa, Restaurant, Sky Bar and swimming pools, with remarkable, attentive and even anticipating service at all common areas.

The hotel is located about a 6-minute tuk-tuk journey from town in the direction of the magnificent temples of Angkor Wat. Using your personal and complimentary tuk-tuk driver, Pub Street and Old Market is a leisurely 5-minutes journey!
