The stunning jungle cabanas and their furnishings are locally handmade and create a truly elegant space to relax into the jungle and listen to the wildlife all around you. Each room provides you with everything you need for a jungle stay in style; hot shower, toiletries including locally made soap, a little welcome rum and hot sauce and a great touch that we particularly like; a fruit chopping board because you are welcome to collect, eat and enjoy any fruit that you find on the property. All rooms include fans and USB plugs but as a truly eco-friendly lodge you won’t find air conditioning, ‘normal’ plug sockets or a hair dryer. Mosquito nets are also not provided but each room is fully mosquito-proofed, keeping doors closed is encouraged and mosquitos are at a minimum at Table Rock. Table Rock has three different room styles available, varying in size and suitability depending on if you are a couple, group or family. The most appropriate room for families is the Rainforest Cabin which actually used to be the owners original home on the estate. Today, it is the perfect spot for a family of up to 4 with one king sized bed and one bunkroom. There are two Garden View rooms which share veranda and are the smallest private room option. There are two Jungle View cabanas with king sized beds and one with a queen bed available and these rooms are a bit larger and provide more privacy than the Garden View rooms with private verandas. There are four River View cabanas with king sized beds and a futon with large verandas overlooking the beautiful river and jungle. Table Rock is extremely conveniently located to visit the Mayan site, Xunantunich amongst many other adventures in the Cayo district. Complimentary, onsite activities include taking a canoe out and paddling for to nearby Chaa Creek lunch, the butterfly sanctuary or infamous medicinal trail. You can also float down the lazy river in a rubber tube and look out for wildlife in the river banks and trees or take their wildlife trail where you can see their farm animals, orange groves and then into the wild of the jungle. Table Rock is proud of its sustainability practices and has lots of information available on site of the wonderful ways they keep a low impact on the environment, this includes but is not limited to being resource self sufficient.
