Stranraer Homestead is an historic federation homestead built in 1920 from limestone gathered on the property. Meticulously restored to its former glory, this traditional bed and breakfast offers an outstanding glimpse of the real Kangaroo Island lifestyle.

The Rooms
Stranraer is an exclusive homestead, having only four guest rooms all of which have cosy fireplaces. One room has an en suite bathroom whilst the others have adjacent private bathrooms. The rooms are spacious and offer lovely garden views. All rooms are bursting with character.

Stranraer Homestead offers a country experience with peace and tranquility. The homestead’s central location on the island makes it convenient for exploring local highlights, natural beauty and wildlife.

Meals are provided for guests in the formal dining room and guests are given individual service.
