Located on the secluded Kandahar Island which is only accessible by boat Victoria Falls Island Lodge offers guests an exclusive and luxurious experience. The lodge consists of 5 modern luxury treehouse suites and a honeymoon treehouse. The tree houses each sleep 2 people on either a king-size bed or twin beds. Each suite has an adjoining private sitting area, open-plan bathroom and private deck with a plunge pool and spectacular views of the river. The rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated and come with a variety of conveniences such as air conditioning, Nespresso coffee machine and tea making facilities, electronic safe and complimentary WiFi amongst others. A private butler is shared between 4 guests.

The honeymoon treehouse is very spacious, situated at the end of the island for the best privacy. It offers an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub with a view over the Zambezi river and a double shower. The verandah offers a plunge pool and great views over the river. An extra starbed on the roof is just the perfect place to fall a sleep to the sounds of the river.
Each of the suites are connected via a raised walkway to the communal lounge, dining and sunset bar areas, which also offer spectacular views as guests dine, or end the day with a sundowner or 2.

Activities at the lodge include Victoria Falls, Zambezi canoe, fishing and walking safaris, as well as tours of Victoria Falls and a Zambezi river cruise. Guests can also enjoy some bird watching, or go for a variety of spa treatments on the Island. Outside of the lodge guests can arrange to a number of high adrenalin activities, such as bungee jumping, Zambezi River rafting or helicopter flights. In addition canopy tours, “the flying fox” Gorge jump, and zip-lining can also be arranged.
