Long Bay Beach Club is located along the northwestern coast of Tortola, the largest of the British Virgin Islands, and is easily accessible by ferry from St. Thomas or via a direct flight from San Juan, Puerto Rico. The island’s rich heritage is evident with historic sites that include Windmill National Park, Callwood Rum Distillery, and the Old Government House.

In October 2013, the resort carried out extensive upgrades to its beachfront rooms, beachfront cabanas and related facilities. The enhancements created a more romantic and intimate beach club- style atmosphere, centered on the resort’s unparalleled beachfront location and highly personalized service.

I Long Bay Beach Club exclusively offers three popular room categories: Beachfront Suites, Beachfront Deluxe Rooms and Beachfront Cabanas. All accommodations include air conditioning, cable TV, wet bars with refrigerators, ceiling fans, hair dryers, safes, irons and ironing boards.

Beachfront Suites are equipped with king-sized beds and queen pull-out sofa beds. They also offer large private terraces, a living room area, full kitchen, and a full bath and shower with separate dressing area. The maximum occupancy is 4 guests.

Beachfront Deluxe Rooms are located just a few yards from the sand and offer king-sized beds or two queen- sized beds, large walk-in closets, bathrooms with twin vanities, showers and private terraces. The maximum occupancy is 4 guests.

1748, a casual beachfront restaurant and bar set on the ground floor of a renovated 18th-century sugar mill with beachfront decking, has been recently renovated to focus on providing a superior beach club dining experience. With a full a la carte breakfast as well as a full lunch and dinner menu, 1748 offers a variety of choices, ranging from grilled burgers to fresh seafood to outdoor barbeque, and hosts a Sunday brunch as well, popular among guests and locals alike.

Long Bay’s mile-long beach is powdery, warm, and perfect for watersports. In the summer, the beach provides excellent snorkeling; in the winter, bodysurfing is a popular activity. Snorkeling equipment and boogie boards are available for no charge, or guests may rent paddleboards or take a scuba diving class for a small fee from the new on-site SCUBA BVI kiosk. For a more leisurely choice, kick back with a tropical cocktail next to our brand new beachside swimming pool.

Long Bay also features two lighted artificial turf tennis courts for those who like to keep active. For an additional charge, island tours and excursions can be arranged, including day sails, power boat rentals, fishing charters, and swimming with dolphins.

The new Spa Pavilion, located right on the powdery white sand, offers a tempting variety of treatments designed to rejuvenate the mind and body, coupled with the soothing sights and sounds of the gentle Caribbean Sea in the background. An a la carte spa menu is available upon request.

I The resort and restaurant have a casual dress code to further enhance the beach club atmosphere.
