Ylang, the latest member of Heritage Line’s ship collection in Lan Ha Bay, features a splendid blend of Asian-Vietnamese design with French-Colonial accents. Ylang and its three-day / two-night journey offers guests deep insights into Lan Ha Bay’s natural beauty all while providing a holistic wellness experience.

Ylang has only ten spacious suites on two decks – each room is flooded with natural light pouring in through floor-to-ceiling panoramic doors which open onto a private balcony. What makes Ylang unique, is the expansive spa with its extensive selection of thoughtfully selected treatments. The focus on wellness lives on in the more dynamic activities such as yoga in a dedicated room, or early morning Tai Chi lessons on the upper deck.

Luxury aside, we love that this cruise does not transfer you onto a smaller boat for your second day. Most cruises do this so they can take the main boat back to the port to changeover the customers that are staying on board just one night, but Ylang only offers a 2-night cruises and so the boat stays with you the whole time. The departure dates for this cruise is every other day, and not every day, for this reason.

There are two categories of suites, Signature and Regency. All suites include air conditioning, mini bar, balcony with sun chairs and a table, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth music system, sofa lounge, chair and desk and, among more, a bathroom with walk-in shower and bathtub (inclusive of a soda spa water system)
Signature Suites are 40 m2 with a 5 m2 balcony, there are two twins and four doubles available. The beds face the large sliding glass door, which opens onto the balcony and views of the sea. All Signature Suites’ bathrooms are fitted with a walk-in shower and a bathtub overlooking the bay.
Regency Suites are situated on the upper deck in a private zone. The “Grace Orchid” and “Pure Lotus” suites offer a total floor space of 53 m2, double beds facing the sea with perfect views on the bay, a spacious balcony of 8 m2. The luxurious Italian marble bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower and Jacuzzi overlooking the bay.
Right at the bow of the ship, the two premium Regency Suites make up the most luxurious domiciles on Ylang. They’re 51 m2 and feature a separate bedroom as well as a lounge with a sofa from where guests access the stunning balcony area. The setting of the private balcony is 10 m2, located in the very front of the ship, inclusive of a Jacuzzi. The lavish bathroom with Italian marble and brass fittings offers both a free-standing bathtub and a shower with a sea views.

Ylang is more than just a ship - is a floating wellness and lifestyle oasis. Offering various kinds of spa treatments in its large Ylang Spa, yoga classes in a dedicated practice room or refreshing Tai Chi at sunrise. On the culinary side, Ylang offers Vietnamese and international gastronomy focusing on healthy dishes and drinks for a holistic wellness stay. While lunch and dinner are served in the magnificent setting of the dining room on the terrace desk, guests may choose to take their breakfast in the privacy of their suite. There is also a bar 180-degree-surrounded by glass windows. Among the vessels facilities there is also a Library Salon and a Terrace Deck, and many activities are offered such as cycling exploration to a local village nestled in a valley surrounded by jungle-cladded mountains, discovery of a local floating fishing village, leisure hiking tour through the Cat Ba Island National Park, kayaking and swimming in the bay, movie night and many more.
