Modern spaces and singular design with vintage pieces of Saigon’s storied past is the name of the game here. The striking architecture of open spaces in vertical will have you in awe even before entering the building, but once you’re in, those open spaces will make you feel the true tropical urban luxury that The Myst is known for. We particularly loved the huge rock, like a giant Himalayan salt, sprouting flowers in the lobby.

The Myst is situated in is bang in the middle of the fashionable commercial heart of Saigon - walking distance from the Opera House, Notre-Dame Cathedral or the Independence Palace and Nguyễn Huệ Walking Street with all its bars and boutiques.

The Myst has six different room settings: Dong Khoi Room, Saigon City Room, Verdant Calm Room, Serene Corner Room, Saigon Signature Suite and The Myst Suite. All rooms have wooden floors and antiques, spacious open-plan rooms and private balconies. All rooms have deep-stone bathtubs, air conditioning, full minibar, coffee and tea facilities, amazing bath amenities, flat screen TVs and WIFI.

Dong Khoi room is 40 sq m and offers King or Twin beds with wide windows - but these are lower down and there is no view.
Saigon City Room is 40 sq m, has King bedding and secluded bathtub on a private garden balcony.
Verdant Calm room is 42 sq m, has King or Twin beds, a private balcony garden and outsie views of a lush hanging garden and the Sông Sài Gòn river.
Serene Corner Room is 46 sq m, has King or Twin beds and antique dark timber furniture. It is situated on the corner of the hotel building, with unblocked views of the Sông Sài Gòn river and it has an outdoor bath surrounded by the lush greenery of the private balcony.
Saigon Signature Suite is 50 sq m, has King beds in spacious open plan room that offers 180-degree sweeping views over the skyline of Saigon and the river. A private balcony provides a lush verdant garden and a deep stone tub.
The Myst Suite is the presidential suite of the Hotel, with 70 sq m and all the perks of the Hotel included and maximised for a cocoon feeling in the middle of bustling Saigon.

Unfortunately, almost immediately after opening, a large hotel was built immediately next door which means a lot of rooms have a window directly onto this hotel. To avoid this you need to request a city facing room, which is available in the Saigon City Category, Serene Corner City View, the Saigon Nature Suite and Myst Suite. The Hotel’s outstanding facilities are an additional reason to stay at The Myst. The Rooftop Swimming Pool, a 24-m infinity pool overlooking the river and city centre. With snacks and Saigon-inspired cocktails from Bar Bleu. The Fitness centre has modern equipment and overlooks the city skyline. KL Spa offers a vast array of treatments based on vietnamese tradition. The Myst also has available tours for their guests, such as: food tours, Notre Dame tour or Sightseeing.

For dining options, the Hotel offers: The Nest, the signature restaurant located on the 12th floor with an impeccable interior, buffet option and local, regional and International cuisine. Bason Cafe offers the signature vietnamese coffee, high tea and vietnamese snacks in a Indochine and Maritime nostalgia setting. Last but not least, Bar Bleu, the rooftop bar located at the 14th floor with breathtaking views of the city and fine snacks, cocktails and wines to indulge on.
