The boutique Sultan Hotel is in the historic centre of Samarkand only 100 metres from Gur-Emir, the incredible mausoleum of the Asian conqueror Timur. Samarkand is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and you’ll soon find yourself gazing up at the grand buildings lining Registan Square, a 12-minute walk from the hotel; or discovering the Shakhi-Zinda compound and Ulugh-Beg’s Observatory.

The hotel stands out for its brickwork and intricate patterns on the façade; and when you step inside the reception area, you’ll be greeted with a fresh yellow colour palette and beautiful patterns on the walls.
