This traditional hotel is close to Lyabi-Khauz, one of Bukhara’s most famous areas, where you’ll find a pond surrounded by stunning buildings, statues and cafes. This family-run hotel is tucked away in the old Jewish quarter and is home to some of the best houses in Bukhara. Many of them, including Sasha & Son, are now welcoming guests. Step inside and you’ll see ornate stairs, plants and huge clay jugs. The two-storey building offers 20 guest rooms decorated in a traditional Bukhara style, with paintings, clay ornaments and ganch carvings that look like an intricate lace design. Many are the work of well-known craftsmen and painters from Uzbekistan who have adorned the stunning and vivid walls. The rooms each have air-conditioning, a minibar and satellite TV.

The hotel has a charming and quiet courtyard with a tiled floor, and seating areas for you to relax during a late sunny afternoon.
