Explore areas where the nomadic way of life remains largely unchanged and experience the real, authentic Morocco.

This trip will take you to parts of the Sahara that you have not seen before, travelling between untouched dunes far away from the tourist routes and camps.

The highlight of the trip will be spending the night under the stars in a completely secluded spot, away from any camps or tourist areas, where you will enjoy a candlelit dinner and the silence of the desert.

You will be accompanied by a guide who grew up in a semi-nomadic family herding animals across this region of the desert, and who will share incredible stories of this way of life with you.

Depart Marrakech and head over the stunning Tizi n’Tichka pass, winding through the Ounila Valley, dotted with ancient villages and kasbahs.

Along the way, you will visit Kasbah Telouet, the former palace of El Glaoui.

Driving through the Rose Valley and the Skoura Palm Grove, you will later reach the Dades Gorges, a spectacular series of gorges carved out by the Draa River. This section of the road is considered one of the most scenic drives in the world.

You will have some time to explore the gorge before spending the night in your guesthouse, enjoying panoramic views of the Dades Valley and a swimming pool overlooking the valley.

Experience the breathtaking landscapes and rich history of this remarkable region—an unforgettable adventure awaits!

Day 3 - Dades – Nkob - Sidi Ali

This morning, you will embark on a truly captivating journey.

You will leave the Dades Valley and make your first stop in Nkob, the capital of the Ait Atta tribe, famously known as ‘the village of 45 kasbahs.’

Discover the village’s beautiful gardens adorned with high-quality henna trees, numerous date palms, and a variety of aromatic plants. Nkob is also celebrated for its organically cultivated almonds and its charming oasis.

After your delightful visit in Nkob, you will travel through Alnif, a fossil hunter’s paradise where many prehistoric creatures, including dinosaurs, marine reptiles, and other ancient animals, have been discovered. You will stop for lunch in a traditional kasbah in Alnif before continuing your adventure into the desert, arriving at the serene Sidi Ali.

Spend the evening in a picturesque desert auberge where you can enjoy a dip in the refreshing swimming pool. Enjoy the tranquility of the desert with a private hammam session, before indulging in a romantic dinner for two.

Day 4 - Sidi Ali – Mharch Oasis

Today, you will embark on an unforgettable adventure and spend a full day in the desert!

You will explore the fascinating lives of the nomadic families who still inhabit this area. Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch amidst the stunning desert landscape before continuing your journey to visit the surrounding settlements.

In the evening, you’re in for a seriously special experience. Tonight, you’ll spend the night in an exclusive, private tent surrounded only by the vast desert sands. Unlike some other camps, there are no neighbouring tents – this is a uniquely authentic desert experience, being truly remote.

Enjoy a candlelit dinner in a secluded spot, just for the two of you. Then, spend the rest of the evening under the stars, soaking up the serene silence of the desert.

Day 5 - Mharch – Tizgui Pools – Agdz

After waking up to catch the splendid sunrise over the Sahara dunes, you will head to Agdz.  This route is off-road, via the famous moto-rally road connecting Paris to Dakar.

In the afternoon, you will arrive in Agdz.  Here you’ll find endless palm groves and beautiful earthen clay architecture.

The fortified ksour village of Agdz is located on the old caravan route connecting Marrakech to Timbuktu (an ancient city in Mali) and played an important role for merchants carrying goods across the Sahara.

You will take a drive to visit the Tizgui Pools, a magnificent natural pool surrounded by palm and fig trees, where you can take a dip if you are feeling brave.

After this, return to spend the evening in a beautiful lodge nestled in the palm groves, where you will enjoy dinner for two.

Day 6 - Agdz - Ighrem n’Ougdal – Marrakech

On your final day, you will return to Marrakech, travelling through the stunning mountains.

You have the option to stop in Ouarzazate if you would like to visit the cinema studio, or perhaps you’d prefer to do some final shopping in the Old Medina?

You will stop for a late lunch in Ighrem n’Ougdal, a spot high up in the mountains with stunning panoramic views.

Your trip will end in Marrakech late afternoon/early evening and the driver will take you directly to your riad.

Day 7 - Have a safe trip!
