A perfectly balanced week exploring ancient sites, hiking the Lycian Path, beach hopping and meandering in harbour towns.
And to make this itinerary even more special, your home for the week is a traditional Turkish gulet! Drop anchor at a new spot each night, and start your day with a swim in the crystal clear ocean. This itinerary is based on one of our favourites, but alternative sized gulets are available for larger or smaller groups. All gulets are professionally crewed and have a dedicated chef on board.
This tour can be adapted if you prefer hotel or apartment stays, but we would make some changes to reduce land travel and optimise your time.
And as always, we can tailor this itinerary to create the perfect trip for you. Just discuss with our destination specialists.
Your tour begins from the small harbour town of Göcek, just 20 minutes from Dalaman International Airport.
Spend the day swimming and sailing to an overnight stop in a bay of your choice.
The small St Nicholas island hosts Byzantine ruins dating back to 4th century A.D. Explore the remains of many ecclesiastical buildings, churches, and tombs scattered along this island.
Enjoy a drink at the highest point of the island at sunset before heading back to the boat for dinner.
Meander around the town of Kas today, world famous for its seaside villas and terraced shops and restaurants that overlook the Greek coast.
The charming Kekova area is littered with picturesque rock formations and Lycian tombs, its like something out of a movie. It’s well worth the hike up to Simena Castle to take in the panoramic views.
This small well-to-do harbour town has developed in recent years and is busy and active. Explore at leisure, spend the rest of the day swimming, snorkelling and sailing
Butterfly Valley is striking with a grand entrance, tall steep hills and the Oludeniz Lagoon beyond. There are a couple of hidden swim spots you can enjoy on this day.
The energetic amongst you will enjoy a historic hike up to Levissi, an abandoned Greek village dating back to 7th century A.D.
Or for adrenalin seekers, you could paraglide off Mount Baba at a height of 2000m.
It’s your last night!
Cruise into the Gulf of Fethiye and explore the bays at your own pace.
Fethiye is a charming town centre close to the harbour. The seaside boulevard is packed with cafes, and the fish market is a fascinating stop where you can pick catches of the day which are then cooked and served to your liking.
Extend your holiday at this point with more time in Fethiye if you like, or get back on board and return to Gocek to fly home.
