Little luxuries include Bose TV’s, remote controlled blackout blinds, bathrooms with indulgent rainfall showers and Aqua di Parma toiletries.

    Stroll through the verdant gardens bursting with colourful flowers and shrubs down to the large sunbathing deck, which really has the wow factor. There is plenty of space for lounging, and taking in the gorgeous sea views, before taking a plunge to cool off in the clear, azure waters.

    Maçakızı’s restaurant is renowned as one of the best in the region, offering traditional Turkish dishes with a contemporary twist, as well as other Mediterranean dishes. Whatever you choose from the menu, you are guaranteed a delicious work of art.

    There is a large Nuxe spa with a comprehensive menu of pampering treatments, and for those looking to burn off a few calories and release some energy, there is also a well-equipped fitness centre. There is also a small swimming pool in the gardens surrounded by age old olive trees, palms and flowers.

    A 45 minute drive will take you into Bodrum town, but the chances are you won’t want to leave this beautiful spot unless its to splash out on a cruise on board Maçakızı’s sleek motorboat to explore the sapphire shores of the peninsula.
