The Rooms
The hotel only has 15 rooms, each with its own sea-view balcony. Every room is tastefully decorated, with personal touches. From the suite-sized bathrooms (replete with extra soft, fluffy towels) to the large flatscreen television and the single cup gourmet coffee maker, each boutique room at the Houben Hotel, is designed to give you that feeling of a personal holiday home with all the amenities of a luxury resort.

The Superior Suite is located only a few steps away from the resort's swimming pool and has a private balcony. Available with either King or twin beds, these bright and airy are perfect for the active traveller who appreciates being close to nature.

The Deluxe Suites offer beautiful panoramas from the bedroom and come with a private balcony and a Jacuzzi bathtub.

The contemporary yet relaxing Privilege Suites are situated in a secluded corner of the property and feature a private cliff-side terrace with an outdoor Jacuzzi.

The Facilities
The hotel has a gorgeous red pool overlooking the sea from where one can listen to the sounds of the ocean.

The 'Red Alert' Bar & Restaurant offers a variety of cuisines unique to this hotel. Imported Belgian foods are served alongside delectable Thai specialities in the open air besides the pool allowing guests to enjoy their meal and a breathtaking horizon view at the same time. Everything in the kitchen is prepared with thought towards sustainability, e.g. the organic rice is grown locally on a small village farm near Ko Lanta and the fresh seafood comes directly from the fishing boats of local indigenous Sea Gypsies. All fruit and vegetables are selected from an organic farm.

Other facilities of the hotel include a spa and a small fitness centre.

Due to the character and architecture of the resort, children under 16 years are not allowed.
