The brand new Shamballa Pool Villa 1 rests on a gentle slope at the bottom of a mountain range and is surrounded by Koh Lanta’s tropical rainforest. It is situated on the eastern side of Koh Lanta and faces directly towards the sunrise.

Although the villa is secluded within the spacious confines of the 4,800m2 development, guests are only minutes away from Koh Lanta’s restaurants and shops. The villa is closely located to ‘Lanta Old Town’ - recently nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site - and Klong Nin beach.

The luxuriously appointed villa features a 10m swimming pool, a large terrace and offers stunning sea views.

Each of the three bedrooms has air-conditioning, an en-suite bathroom and is furnished with custom-made teak furniture. The spacious master bedroom (king sized bed) has unspoiled 180º sea-views. This bedroom has also has a bi-folding door to a private terrace and the swimming pool. Bedroom 2 boats 4m high ceilings and a 4-poster king-sized bed. This bedroom also has direct access to the swimming pool. Bedroom 3 is perfect for children with its two twin beds (which can be combined to a make up a third king-sized bed). Upholstered chairs & desks for laptops are located in all bedrooms.

All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, the master bathroom has a big freestanding bathtub plus his & hers rainfall showers. A guest washroom is also located next to the living area.

The villa features a modern functional kitchen with all necessary appliances such as stove, oven and dishwasher. The dining room offers room for 10 guests. The kitchen and dining room have direct access to the terrace, sala and swimming pool.

The 10m x 4m swimming pool is located in the the centre of the villa. There is a children’s splash pool at one end and a submerged bench at the deep end of the pool. A traditional grass-thatched sala sits outside the dining room and next to the swimming pool – perfect for yoga and Thai-massages.

Koh Lanta is located 70km south of Krabi Town and the journey from Krabi airport can take up to one hour. The island can be easily reached by taxi service, mini-bus or by car.

Regular ferry services run direct to the island from Phuket, Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Phi Phi Island, Railay Beach and Trang. Ferries are more frequent in the high-season but private speed boats can be hired year-round.

A complimentary taxi service from Krabi International Airport is included for guests staying 5 nights or longer.

The preferable method of transport on and around Koh Lanta is either by rental car or by hiring a scooter/motorbike (110-125cc), both of which are available from the main beach locations and Lanta Old Town. The roads are safe and the island is much less crowded than Phuket or Koh Samui (even in peak season.)
