The Rooms

This elegant hotel offers three room types. All rooms are assigned a personal butler who can assist with everything from dinner reservations to arranging local tours and transport. Rooms are tastefully appointed with neutral tones and, on some levels, a deep accent colour. A minimum of 75 square meters including private outdoor space, all suites are large enough to accommodate a third person.

On the ground level are the Kraam Pool Suites, each with a private pool and outdoor terrace. Hand-woven indigo fabrics accent these spacious suites. One floor up and accessible by lift are the Rin Terrace Suites. Connecting suites are available with a king-bedded room connecting to a room with two twin beds. Each suite has a covered river-facing balcony with ample seating area. On the top floor, reachable by private staircases, are the Hue Bon Suites. High ceilings recall traditional Thai architecture and with natural tones keeping the space light and airy, the suites feel decadently large. A shaded terrace looks out to the river.

The Facilities
The hotel's signature restaurant, Kru Khao, offers a menu inspired by the crossroads location of northern Thailand. Dishes from China, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, and of course, northern Thailand, are created with locally-sourced ingredients and the menu changes seasonally. Many of the herbs and ingredients are grown on site in the riverbank garden. For afternoon tea or a light bite, Laan Cha Tea Terrace provides open air river views and comfortable seating. Tucked away behind a fast-growing veil of greenery, Baan Ta Lounge & Lawn serves cocktails, drinks, and evening meals.

Al Waan Spa draws on regional healing techniques to offer a variety of massage styles. In keeping with the crossroads location, techniques have been sourced throughout Thailand and neighboring nations allowing for a varied selection of treatments.

Raya Heritage is located along the Ping River, approximately 30 minutes from Chiang Mai International Airport and 20 minutes from the heart of Chiang Mai. Complimentary shuttle service into and from the city is provided throughout the day. The hotel is in a quiet area with a limited number of cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
